DELIVERY

WHAT SHIPPING METHODS ARE AVAILABLE?

We offer two delivery methods:

In France :

  • Home delivery I DPD ensures home delivery by Predict within 24 to 48 hours after dispatch.
  • Delivery to a relay point I DPD ensures delivery to a relay point within 24 to 48 hours to a relay point selected by you when placing your order.

In Europe:

  • Home delivery I DPD provides home delivery by Predict within 3 to 5 working days.

Please note: Customs fees may apply to release your package at customs. This applies to the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Norway. Customs fees vary depending on the type of item ordered. Typically, you can add 20 to 25% of the total invoice amount.

WHAT ARE THE DELIVERY COSTS & TIMES?

IN METROPOLITAN FRANCE:

  • Home delivery

DPD ensures home delivery by Predict within 24 to 48 hours after dispatch, to a specific address (home, workplace, etc.).
The shipping cost, which will be charged to you, is €7 including tax. Home delivery is free for purchases over €150 including tax.

  • Delivery to a relay point

DPD delivers to a collection point within 2 to 3 days, to a collection point you select when ordering from our online store. The shipping cost, which you will be charged, is €4 including tax. Collection point delivery is free for purchases over €150, including tax.

  • Special cases

Additional delivery charges of €6 including VAT may be added for towns and cities that are difficult to access (mountainous regions and islands)

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

You can find the tracking number for your package in the shipping email for your order or directly in your customer account in the "My orders" section.

If you haven't received your order yet and the delivery time has expired, we invite you to check your email and spam folders. You likely received an email informing you that the order has left our warehouse.

MY PACKAGE SEEMS LOST

If your package is listed as delivered but you haven't received anything, we invite you to wait 48 hours. It's likely that your package tracking was incorrectly updated by the carrier. If after this time you still haven't received your package, write to us at contact@daytona73.com, indicating your order reference in the subject line.

Our team will open an investigation with the carrier and guide you through the next steps.

HOW TO SELECT THE RELAY POINT?

The collection point is selected after payment on the order confirmation page. If you forgot to provide it, please send us a message at contact@daytona73.com. Without this information, the collection point closest to you will be automatically selected by our logistics department.

TAXES AND CUSTOMS FEES

Orders placed in mainland France and the European Union are subject to French VAT (20%).

For all orders delivered to Switzerland, United Kingdom, Norway and Liechtenstein:

Value-added tax does not apply. The customer agrees to pay all taxes due on the importation of products, including customs duties (20 to 25% of the total invoice amount), in accordance with the laws of the country where the order is received.

To pay for your orders online, we offer several secure payment methods:

  • By credit card (Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, AE) via Shopify's secure payment system
  • By Paypal by clicking on the Paypal logo when choosing the payment method
  • In 2 or 3 installments with Alma for all orders from €100 in France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal and the Netherlands
  • In 4 installments with Alma for all orders from €200.
  • ApplePay.

We do not accept payment by check or bank transfer.

ARE PAYMENTS SECURE?

The transmission of information on the Daytona 73 site takes place in a secure environment using the protocols in force on the Internet.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY PAYMENT HAS BEEN VALIDATED?

HOW DO I GET MY INVOICE?

HOW TO MAKE A RETURN?

1. Log in to your account:

  • In the “Email” field, enter your email address and then click “Continue”.
  • In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
  • Return to the online store and enter a six-digit verification code.

2. Click on the order for which you wish to submit the return.

3. If your order includes more than one item, select the ones you wish to return.

4. Select a reason for return and indicate in a note whether it is an exchange (desired size or color) or a refund.

5. Click “Submit Request”.

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, you will receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. Once the product is returned, you will receive a refund or exchange.

Please return the package to us within 10 days from the date of the return request.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS MY RETURN?

Once your package has been received in our warehouse, we undertake to process your return request within 3 to 5 working days.

This processing time may be extended during special sales periods.

A confirmation email will be sent to you when your return is validated.

CAN I MAKE AN EXCHANGE INSTEAD OF A REFUND?

Exchanges are only permitted for a change of size or color on an item with the same reference. Returns for exchange are free within 14 days.

To do this, please specify when requesting a return that you would like an exchange, while specifying the name of the model, the size and the color.

We do not offer exchanges for items that do not have the same reference. If you would like a different item, please place a new order.

MY ITEM IS DEFECTIVE, WHAT DO I DO?

If your item has a defect, you can contact us directly at contact@daytona73.com, specifying the order reference in the subject line along with 2 or 3 photos of the defect(s) noted.

Our team will advise you on the procedure to follow to return your item and receive a new one without defects.

CAN I RETURN A PRODUCT TO A PARTNER STORE?

We have a large network of independent distributors who are not affiliated with our online store. Therefore, you cannot return a product to a partner store.

I PAID FOR MY ORDER WITH ALMA, HOW DOES THE REFUND WORK?

If you paid for your order in 2 or 3 installments with Alma, your refund will be made directly by Alma and the remaining monthly payments will not be collected.

You will therefore be reimbursed the sum of the number of withdrawals made directly from the payment method used for the purchase.

Selecting the right size for an online purchase isn't always easy. To help you make your choice, size guides are available on each product page. Please note that these are generic charts and do not take your body shape into account. For personalized advice, please send us your chest and waist measurements via the contact form, indicating the product(s) you're interested in. We'll respond to you by email within 2 to 3 days.

WHAT TO DO IF THE SIZE OF THE ORDERED MODEL DOES NOT MATCH?

For your satisfaction, we are committed to exchanging the ordered item if the size does not fit. You have 14 days after receiving your order to request the exchange of unworn items, in their original packaging, which do not suit you. HOW CAN I ORDER AN ITEM THAT IS UNAVAILABLE?

When an item is temporarily unavailable in our e-shop, we recommend signing up for our email alerts. To do this, simply go to the product page and enter your email address in the field below the size selection. If you're logged in, simply click the "Notify me when the product is available" button.

As soon as the product is back in stock, you will be notified by email.

Please note: Email alerts are only sent when the product is back in stock in our online store. However, we cannot guarantee product availability as other customers may have purchased the product before you visited our online store.

You may notice some items disappearing from our online store. These products are removed by our maintenance team because they are unavailable and will not be restocked until the end of the season.

WHERE ARE YOUR PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED?

Our leather jackets are made in Pakistan. We strive to be transparent about our manufacturing process. Leather craftsmanship in this country is highly developed and boasts unparalleled expertise.

All the leather used comes from the agri-food industry. Under no circumstances are the animals raised for their skins (we're talking about leather, not fur). We recycle these skins to make clothing and accessories.

WHY DOES MY MODEL NOT CORRESPOND IDENTICALLY TO THE ONE IN THE PHOTO ON THE PRODUCT SHEET?

The texts and photos accompanying the presentation of the products on the site and other sales materials have no contractual character and therefore cannot engage the responsibility of Daytona 73 in any capacity and in any way whatsoever.

HOW CAN I BE SURE OF THE QUALITY OF THE LEATHER IN THE ITEMS OFFERED?

Because we are committed to the quality of the leather that forms the basis of our collections, we have implemented a quality approach based on our expertise and over 25 years of experience in this field. We work exclusively with trusted partners and are attentive to the origin of the hides, which are rigorously selected in the tanneries. In addition, we have set up a monitoring office to detect any potential malfunctions.

Each model has a label located in the inside pocket of the lining. It indicates the type of leather and the composition of the lining.

DOES LEATHER REQUIRE SPECIAL CARE?

Leather clothing is like a second skin; it is a noble and living material that must be maintained. To learn about the different maintenance techniques, visit our Maintenance section.

ARE THE PRODUCTS GUARANTEED?

Products ordered exclusively from our online store include a 1-year warranty from the order's shipment date covering material and manufacturing defects for their original owner. If your product proves to be defective or if it is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we undertake to replace the product while stocks last. If the product is no longer available or its production is stopped, a credit equivalent to the product's value including VAT, valid for 1 year, will then be offered to the customer in their personal space. Under no circumstances can a refund be claimed by the customer.

To assess the possibility of applying the warranty, a return request must be made via the online contact form. The customer is asked to provide their order number and photos highlighting the defect(s) observed that may justify the return.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, washing, normal wear and tear, or the natural alteration of colors and materials over time and use. We are currently unable to repair items not covered by this warranty policy.

Important: This warranty can only be applied once to the same order. Therefore, a customer will not be able to request an exchange or repair after using the warranty. Except in the case of shipping errors or non-compliant products upon receipt.
