Exchanges and returns

RETURNS

Daytona 73 is committed to exchanging any item that is subject to a size, fit or satisfaction issue.

You have a legal period of 14 days, after receiving your order, to request the exchange or refund of unworn items, in their original packaging, which do not suit you.

IMPORTANT: An item can only be exchanged or refunded if it has not been worn, altered and if all its tags are still in place.

If you fail to comply with these conditions, a penalty of €5 per item may be deducted from your refund.

1. EXCHANGE

When exchanging for the same item (size or color), return shipping is free.

Within 2 to 3 days of receiving your package, the model(s) requested in exchange will be shipped using the same shipping method indicated in your initial order. If you wish to change the delivery address, please let us know by email at contact@daytona73.com along with your order reference.

You will be informed by email when a new package is shipped with its tracking number.

Important: Exchange requests are limited to one free return. Any second exchange or exchange will be at your expense.

2. REFUND

In the event of a refund, return costs will be deducted from you :

  • €10 including tax for a package over 1kg in France
  • €5 including tax for a package under 1kg in France
  • €12 including tax for a parcel in Europe

In the case of packages weighing more than 3 kg, the actual costs incurred on the return package will apply after verification with the carrier.

Your order will be refunded within 7 days of receipt of the package using the payment method chosen when you placed your initial order.

How to request a return?

1. Log in to your account:

  • In the “Email” field, enter your email address and then click “Continue”.
  • In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.
  • Return to the online store and enter a six-digit verification code.

2. Click on the order for which you wish to submit the return.

3. If your order includes more than one item, select the ones you wish to return.

4. Select a reason for return and indicate in a note whether it is an exchange (desired size or color) or a refund.

5. Click “Submit Request”.

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, you will receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label. Once the product is returned, you will receive a refund or exchange.

Please return the package to us within 10 days from the date of the return request.

Can I request an exchange?

Would you like to try another size? Choose a different color?

We offer to exchange your item(s).

To do this, please specify when requesting a return that you would like an exchange, while specifying the name of the model, the size and the color.

Once your return request has been validated, you will receive a return label by email. Please print and affix the label to the package.

Finally, drop off the package at a post office or Colissimo drop-off point.

We do not offer exchanges for items that do not have the same reference. If you would like a different item, please place a new order.

How long will it take to process my return?

Once your package has been received in our warehouse, we undertake to process your return request within 2 to 5 working days.

This processing time may be extended during special sales periods.

A confirmation email will be sent to you when your return is validated.

When will I be reimbursed?

We undertake to refund the amount including tax of your order within 2 to 5 days after receiving your package.

As a reminder, in the event of a refund, return costs will be deducted from the total amount.

The refund will be made via the payment method chosen for the order.

How do I exchange a product given as a Christmas gift if the return date has passed?

Because Christmas is such a special and unique time, we're extending the return period until January 15th for any purchase made between December 1st and 25th. So, if the size, color, or style isn't right, we'll exchange, credit, or refund your purchase under the same terms and conditions.

I bought a product that is already defective after 6 months, can I claim a warranty?

The products on our website include a 1-year warranty from the order's shipment date covering material and manufacturing defects for their original owner. If your product proves to be defective or if it is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we undertake to replace the product while stocks last. If the product is no longer available or its production is stopped, a credit equivalent to the product's VAT amount, valid for 1 year, will then be offered to the customer in their personal space. Under no circumstances can a refund be claimed by the customer.

To assess the possibility of applying the warranty, a return request must be made via the online contact form on the website. The customer is asked to provide their contact details, the order number and, if applicable, photos highlighting the defect(s) observed that may justify the return.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, misuse, neglect, washing, normal wear and tear, or the natural alteration of colors and materials over time and use. We are currently unable to repair items not covered by this warranty policy.

Beyond the two-year legal guarantee, a compromise in the form of a credit note or promotional code may be considered after agreement between the different parties.

Important: This warranty can only be applied once to the same order. Therefore, a customer will not be able to request an exchange or repair after using the warranty. Except in the case of shipping errors or non-compliant products upon receipt.
