For a weekend on the Val de Vienne circuit, immerse yourself in the world of motor racing with the Paul's Classic Cars team during the 31st edition of Sport et Collection.
Paul's Classic Cars: From Sale to Competition
Specializing in the restoration and sale of classic vehicles, Paul's Classic Cars has built a reputation in the automotive industry. The Normandy garage offers exceptional vehicles to a clientele of enthusiasts.
The team once again made an impression by fielding several iconic models on the Val de Vienne track.
Whether it was a roaring Jaguar D-Type , a race-honed Porsche 911 Classic , or a powerful and charismatic AC Cobra , each car told a story. And that's what the team offers: reliving, with the engine running, the thrill of an era when motor racing still smelled of hot oil, burnished leather and raw adrenaline.
A legendary event for a noble cause
As a partner of the racing team, we met on May 30th and 31st at the Val de Vienne racing circuit for Sport & Collection. For over three decades, it has combined a passion for automobiles with charitable commitment, supporting cancer research. Ferrari, Porsche, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Lotus, Alfa Romeo, and many other legendary brands rub shoulders there, in a friendly and exhilarating atmosphere.
The paddocks vibrate to the rhythm of engines, as well as the conversations between enthusiasts, curious onlookers, drivers, and mechanics. Each stand becomes a window onto an era or a legend of motorsport.
The goal was clear: to soak up the adrenaline of motor racing.
From unloading vehicles to mechanical issues, the technical team was on alert to allow the drivers to take the start in the best possible conditions. On the track, they first had to face the heat (34 degrees) before facing the competitors. The 3.7-kilometer track, with its 13 turns, will put Paul to the test aboard his Jaguar D-type, who will have a blast on the track and set good times in his Le Mans Classic category.
Between the smiles and the concentration, it is above all a story of passion that brings these people together around these prestigious vehicles. Amidst the roar of the engines, the smell of gasoline, the dust and this immense crowd, we made many enriching encounters. Spending a weekend with Paul's Classic Cars at Sport et Collection is much more than attending a race: it is immersing yourself in a human, mechanical and historical adventure.
Next date and next major challenge for the team from July 3 to 6: LE MANS CLASSIC...
